The Dragonfly

The Dragonfly is a sweet little sign of summer and the fun to come......I love to watch them fly over the baseball park on a warm summer night. Or dip in and out of the swimming pool when the water is still and calm. It's almost time to pull out the shade umbrellas and slather on the sunscreen :)

Rainbows & Silver Linings

 Rainbow, is an optical and meteorological phenomenon that causes a spectrum of light to appear in the sky when the sun shines onto droplets of moisture......... It will also add an instant smile to your face and bring peace to your heart.

 Rainbow hunting is  great fun,  grab a camera and get out of the house and be inspired by Gods beauty!!!!!!

 Silver Lining, a metaphor for optimism......"Every cloud has a silver lining" I just love that.... saying it reminds me that no matter how strong the storm something amazing is about to happen.....I personally have to make myself be quiet so I don't miss it......I hate it when that happens:)

This was taken on a family vacation to Yellowstone, Wyoming...... Truly a trip of a lifetime:) I need to blow this one up and put it on my wall as reminder that the storm does pass......Being quiet is never a bad idea........

Fun Finds!

 I just love to wonder around nursery's and take photos. This was the cutest little Kumquat Tree, It would be darling on a patio table.....I think I know just the table.......

I took this photo to use as my screen saver. When I turn my computer on it will remind me of the perfect day we had wondering. I just love my cell phone with a camera. 

I thought this was a clever way to label your garden. How easy would that be, Just take a sharpie pen and write on a rock.... I'll try it and let you know how it goes.

Field Trip Sunday!!!

 Spring has sprung!!!!! We went to a beautiful nursery in Elk Grove, Ca. These amazing little flowers were just  trying to make it Spring.

On our way home we stopped for a pic nick at Peirano Estate Vineyards. What a delicious way to end the week or start a new one...Either way it works:)

                     

The Front Door

I Love my front door it says so much about me. The Orange color says its warm and a little crazy inside. It's a quick and easy way to update the season and put a smile on my face. When I walk through it at the end of the day it gives me joy. The rest of the world has to stay outside!

First Time for Everything

Last August I bought Heirloom Tomatoes, dried the seeds and kept them all winter in an envelope. First time ever starting something from a seed! I have taken over the kitchen with them but it seems to be working. I will keep you posted.
